THE GIRLS

THE GIRLS

Lyria

Great Pyrenees, Anatolian Shepherd

Lyria is our goofy, playful girl! You can always find her running around in the pasture playing with the other dogs! She loves to have fun but knows when its time to work! She had her first litter in 2024 with our sire Ghost. We have two of her pups from that litter, Salem (who is moms twin!) and Reaper. She has been DNA and health tested.

Nyx

Great Pyrenees, Anatolian Shepherd and Caucasian Ovcharka

Nyxie girl is our alpha female! She is the leader of the pack and always on alert. She loves to do a perimeter check first thing in the morning before breakfast. She is very independent and likes to do her own thing. She comes over for love and then its back to work for her! We got Lyria and Nyx at the same time from our friends over at Royalty’s Farm. They were born only 1 day apart and act just like sisters! Nyx had her first litter in Feb 2025 with our sire Ghost. We ended up keeping 2 males from her litter, Sig and Ruger. She has been DNA and health tested.

Raven

Great Pyrenees, Anatolian Shepherd

Raven was one of our first female guardians! She is very alert but also knows when something is actually a threat vs other dogs just barking. She respects the fence and doesn’t try and escape (a very good trait if you know Great Pyrenees!) Raven absolutely loves people, she is always flopping over for belly rubs when guests come over! She has been DNA and health tested. She has her OFA scheduled for end of May 2026!

Fun fact- Raven is actually the aunt to one of our sires, Kane!

Opie (Ophelia)

Turkish Boz/Anatolian Shepherd

Miss Opie girl is from wonderful breeders in Oregon, Aegis Guardians! She is 1/4 Anatolian Shepherd and 3/4 Turkish Boz! Opie was my first Boz and I am absolutely blown away by this breed. Turkish Boz are known for their intelligence and natural guarding instincts, they are also extremely loyal to their families. One thing I noticed with Opie is her patience, she is so patient with children, big and small! She doesn’t jump or overwhelm them, she comes up slowly and will sit by them and wait for pets. She is very alert and ONLY barks if she see’s something. When she barks I know there is either someone at my house or a random animal in my yard! Its amazing watching her grow and learn, I can already tell she will be a phenomenal guardian when she is older! We are hoping to breed Opie on her 2nd heat which will be end of 2026/ beginning of 2027.

Opie has been DNA and health tested, which came back clear. OFA prelims will be done at 1 year of age.

**Embark does not list “Turkish Boz Shepherd” as a distinct breed in their data base. Boz is a regional type of Anatolian/Turkish Shepherd**
